Provisional Route Details: GEORGIA
There are two routes in Georgia*:
- Enter from Turkey and exit to Armenia
- Enter from Armenia and exit to Azerbaijan
*There's a possibility that I will incorporate part or all of the TransCaucasian Trail into the routes in Georgia.
- Total Country Distance: 1,002 km - 626 miles
- Route 1 (Turkish border to Armenian border): 723 km - 452 miles
- Route 2 (Armenian border to Azerbaijan border): 279 km - 174 miles
- Estimated Total Duration: 51 days
- Including anticipated rest days, visiting sites and talking to/interviewing people for the project.
- Route 1 (Turkish border to Armenian border): 37 days
- Route 2 (Armenian border to Azerbaijan border): 14 days
